This entry actually took me 5 days to complete writing becos I really got so much to say and so little time to write.
Too many things I want to do, yet again. I should be completing the paintings very soon. Hopefully by early Sep. Went trekking with Dad and Mum once every weekend. We went to the Hortpark one weekend and walk the other portion along Alexandra Arch on the following weekend.
The whole walking trial will take about half or one day to complete. Baby and I will come to walk the trail again on a separate day, to try completing the (about 15k?) walk together. We can’t possibly ask the older folks to do that together right?
Then jogging with baby once a week. Meeting up Karen for dinner and movie. The digital UP is a wonderful movie to catch. You guys should try experiencing the 3 D effect be it the commercial before the show starts or the movie scenes. UP is a very touching movie which could really move you to tear even if you are a guy.
I have been jogging since monday, and again yesterday, and going to again today, running back home from work. So many things on hand to work on and accomplish. So many stuff and so little time. The consignment paintings should be able to complete by early sep. the President's Challenge Event will also be in early sep. Plus the other working deadlines to meet. However busy I will be,
I will still laze abit when I need to so dont worry for me!!
Spidy! Hugs! Sorry to have neglect you and the others all these while. Am really busy.....busy working, painting, running, trekking, maintaining the online accessories, pat tor-ing....Give me some more time to sort out all my dead lines and we should be able to meet again real soon!!

Paintings!
Phew! Finally started working on these paintings. Finding the right dimension for these paintings has been a challenge. The dimension given could never be found in Art Friend, where I always get my boards. After spending quite awhile in Art Friend, i decided to try my luck at Creative Hands and to my surprise, thank god i managed to find the closest dimension and quickly bought them.
There are four country national flowers I will need to work on, the Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia National Flowers. Before accepting this job, I actually hesitated awhile, because painting flowers was never my strength. The lotus is a proof. Then I realised, I have been constraint by small boards and it is about planning, color mixing, and using the right brush. Then again, its a great opportunity for some free "publicity" and so why not? Opportunity dont knock on our door everday and when it does, it really depends on one if they know how to cherish and grab it. I am glad I did.
I did quite a few researches online, viewing youtube for painting techniques, going to botanical gardens to see more flowers, searching and going through many pictures through googles, yahoo search.
The current boards I am working on is on a dimension of roughly 90cm by 60cm. While I was working on the Orchid, then I was told that that Orchid suppose to be painted like a collage with three such sized boards instead of painting it on one board to complete the whole picture. Ah well! I can always repaint. So I worked on the Hibiscus now and the frangi pani, while waiting for the new boards to arrive before I could repaint the Orchid and the dun know what yellow beautiful flower for the Thailand painting.

Phew! Another day passed
The dark cloud has finally cleared. Work is still as hectic. Today was the ceremony which I have been working on. Although it was a small ceremony but planning has hiccups and hindrances. Thankfully all these were cleared.
After the ceremony, I had a chat with the photographer whom we always engage whenever we have events. Today we chatted about his camera. It was a Nikon D3. The overall set up of the camera with lens and flash weigh about a sack of rice probably about 1kg or 1.5 kg.
His camera plus flash and lens cost about 10k. Then I was jokingly saying that that means, everyday he will have to carry 20k (two cameras) around on his shoulder when he works. Ironically proud to have so much value on his shoulder as his burden. Then we chatted about taking pictures of fireworks and he gave me some pointers etc.
William has 39 years of experiences in this field. Cant imagine how could one stay in the same field for so so long.........impressive!

My fun runs
Last Tues, went jogging with Spidy Baobei and Baby. It was a sinful jog because we actually ran to Jurong Point to eat and Spidy Bao Bei came back with a new dress. If every jog comes with a reward, wow! Imagine how tempting that may be!
Anyway, the distance covered was about 6k? But we aint that good to have jogged throughout the distance. The 6k was covered by half jogging and half walking. It was certainly fun to have someone to jog with me.
Sat, I was dragged to Bukit Timah Hill again by my parents. This time, I tried running after passing the steep slope while mum took a rest at the 1st hut and waited for my dad and bro to reach her. I thought too highly of myself and ended giving up after running up the not so steep slope for some mins and started walking all the way to the hill top. It took me 15mins to reach the summit. There were a few crowds at the hill top by the time I reached there. After cooling down shortly, I ran down the slope and reached the base in 5mins. It was pretty fast because the distance was short I think.
My shoes were hurting my toes. Guess the size is really not right for me. I bought a new pair on Sunday and went testing it out with Baby. We met at Pioneer mall and started a slow jog and walk to Seng Siong Super mart to grab a drink. Then we strolled to the park he wanted to bring me.
The park is a wide open one with some PRCs families bringing their children there to run about, cycle or just playing at the play ground.
We sat down on a bench and started watching these people. I saw a PRC couple, the pregnant wife was accompanied by her husband, holding hand in hand and they were walking rounds and rounds in the park. I saw another PRC couple doing their brisk walking together, and a few PRC ladies walking and chatting behind while their kids rode on the little auto car along the route in the park.
The breeze blew. The wide sky was just above us. We sat on the bench and chatted. Time seemed to have passed so fast than we could even finish our conversation. Or there were too much to say between us? How I wish we could do this every day. How I wish I could make things last...
Am I blessed or have I been cursed by the many out there for being with you?
I am afraid..so afraid…the closer I am with you, the more uncertainty I feel. Am I really in luck? Or it’s just a screen saver that god has shown me and then rip all the good things given to me again? Is this another test for me? How much more should I go through in life then you will be satisfied my dear god? Why do you have to be such a sadist? How many times you will want me to go through this cycle again and again? I am not game. Just show me my final destination. I will take my life as it is. Just show me the way, I wont complain.
