My new iphone and a great family day!

Baby bought me an iPhone!!!! :) Am so so happy with it! Though my HTC diamond is still in gd condition but there were some minor faults with it. Well! after using HTC and iPhone, I realised that if the two types of phone functions could be combined into one then that will be the most most super duper phone in this world.

Anyway! this blog is not really about iPhone but also about our family day on Vesak day. Early morning at 7am, we set off to do our praying in the temple followed by a vegetarian beehoon meal at the nearby coffeeshop. Then dad suggested to go to the old turf club to show me the place since I have not been there for a long time.

Indeed the old turf city has became much more run down, but surprisingly it still draws a crowd probably it has a gigantic giant mall that helps to draw the nearby residence. Has a stroll in the mall and found this interested shop which sells all equipments and products for beauty salon and spa shop. Whatever instruments, equipments, lotions, shampoo, masks, salt, etc, whatever you name it, they have it.

We have a great lunch at this very old hawker style, sitting by side, gulping down mouthful of the freezing cold lemon tea and chewing the slices of pork loins meat, and occassionally the strong breeze blew against our faces, it was really a relaxing time which I dont usually feel when I eat at the food courts or other hawkers where its so noisy, dirty, crowded and have to hurriedly leave the seats to make way for others.

Great time spent with my family till almost 3pm by the time we reached home. Then its sleeping and sleeping and sleeping all the way..............

(A bowl of Guilin Gao to cool us down......hot weather.....)
(Then we bought curry puffs at McKenzie Road...)
(Plentiful of chinese pottery, paintings, crafts, can be found here at the Old Turf City)
(The old type of chopticks hardly seen nowadays!)
(This is the old old type of hawker hardly found in Singapore. You will most likely find stores like this in malaysia...)
(see the amount of lean meat inside this bowl? The soup base is Bah Ku Teh, the meat balls are mixed with fried octopus, the lean meats are soft and tender yet thick, taste like chicken meat, and with a few pieces of tang-O, best combi!)

(My iPhone cover! Just my style! Thanks to my Baby!!! )

Updates

Ah! Finally am more relaxed and freed. Been busy with work and figuring out my assignment. Just completed organising a ceremony, leaded my colleagues in the IQC convention 2010, completed a 8k and 10k run this month.

Before all these, I was still wondering how will I be able to do all these in a month? But most of the time, it is not about wondering and thinking but PLANNING. If you can plan well, all timelines will be possible to meet.

It was indeed a stressful month for me, having to multi task several main activities and events and on top of that, have to cope with my daily work.

The ceremony is a success, although it is not the first event I ever planned but glad everything turned out well and smoothly. Our IQC convention was presented in an organised manner but the judge was so critical that she gave alot of comments. Maybe because we are the first team to present. Nevertheless, we got a silver for this project and was still glad that the judges like our powerpoint slides which were clear in our explanation.

My 8k run for URun was a timing of about 1hr09mins and for the yesterday, the results is not released yet but I guess is roughly about 1hr 33mins. Well! Not too bad I guess, considering the fact that we did not train for this two runs. I wonder how I completed the 10K but I did! :)

(My first running medal!)
