Bernard's Convo

Hei Hei!!! Today was my bro's poly convo. Hmm and it's my 1st visit to Republic Poly!! Looking at this new campus at Woodlands, it reminds me of myself, when I first enroled in Temasek Poly. Its that same familar feeling again, beautiful neat tall buildings..nice sceneries, wide walk ways, big flat carparks, many greeneries...


Sis and I were resting our feet at a nearest cafe while those with invite cards, my dad and mum attended the boring convocation ceremony for say 1 and a 1/5 hrs. Damn cheap the drinks were, a cup of latte cost about $3, a ice milk tea is only $1 for a regular cup and $1.20 for a large cup. I think I should drink a dozen of milk tea until I can lao sai all the way from woodlands to back home. Nevertheless! Its really cheeeeeeeeap. I mean, cheaper than those you get from Starbucks or the Cafes in the malls. LOL!!!! How good a student life can be.........

Then was to the temple for some praying.................men ah! women ah! all squeeze together ah! Suddenly all strangers became so close together. Body rubbing against each other. The sweat.....the smelly oily hair..........dirty smelly clothes.........argh!!

(all vying their way thru to the vase just to drop their lotus flower and donations!!)

Then was to Taka to Yum Char then to BBDC to apply for the stupid theory test which my dad been bugging and suaning me that I have been delaying it for weeks already. My god! The damn long queues and I simply do not understand why I need to register online, then take a queue no. to wait for the counter staff to process payment, allocate me a test date and other don know what other procedures. Why cant they improvise their website to something more user friendly that could allow us to register online, pay online, then chose test dates all these to be done in the initial stage!!! Why do I have to register online, and still, have to, in person, come to the centre and spend long hours WAITING where many things could be settled thru the web unless say an eye test of cos I will have to come over. Else they could also allow us to have our eye test done in optical shops or eye centre (where a test report can be issue to us as prove) so as to reduce the no. of ppl crowding up the driving centre!


Forget it man, after a long day since 6:30am, I do not want to wait anymore and thought I should come back again the next morning. The 1st min they open their gates, I shall charge my way in!!
