Updates

Hey! I am back finally...able to write something again after being held up with a sudden shift required so last min from my office.

Our General Office and the room which I am sharing with 5 other colleagues will be combined to house all of us together in order to convenient everyone of us in the same roof so to speak. I was of cos feeling reluctant to give up my cosy office but still, have to shift out from my cosy corner and together with the rest of them, we relocated to a temporary office. The last few days was busy with the shifting and getting work done.

From a personal desktop with high partition to a flat desk, side my side with my colleagues, sigh..... it spells the end of my FREE-DOOM. Squeezing all my stuff within the space allocated. It's all about SKILLS.....

(Ta-la!! My temporary working space)

It is pretty an awful space becos there are little SLOW CRAWLING RED ANTS walking around on the table!!!!!! They are always a distraction whenever I look at my monitor screen replying emails, then seeing one or two red little ants loitering around my limited table space. Then the no. of little red ants will call upon their other little red friends then more and more little red ants will be "shopping" around my table. Then I will have to shift my water flask and cup away for them, worrying they will accidentally "drown" inside my cup. So with the renovation drilling sound all around us, with my Mat Yo Yo colleague turning on the radio volume higher trying to overwrite the drilling noise and with the phone ringing here and there, its a NOISE POLLUTION WAR ZONE I am in for the last week and the next coming week! Little work could be done...sigh.....but with all of us sitting closer to each other, it seems to be able to bring us closer and building our working relation closer.

Friday after work was running off to get one more packet of glutinous rice! And what's the occasion? It's time for dumplings again! In fact, it has been some years since our last wrapping.

(The fire ceremony)

(The well prepared rice)

(The shrimps..)

(The most impt one...PORK!!!)

(My wrappings!!)

After so long..my skill has still not lost much thank god! So next few days, I will have dumplings to stuff and eat to my heartiest content!

Today, all of us woke up very early again and reached Kwan Ming Shan Monastery by 7am to make offerings to late grandma before we make our way to west coast for roti prata and mee goreng.

Arh.........its been quite some time I ever stood so high at a monastery looking afar at some flats and buildings. The sky was grey, the wind was cold and there was not much of a soul. Everywhere around me look so calm and quiet and it seems I have lost touch with my surroundings for so long that I have not been appreciating the wonder of waking up early to enjoy looking at what is around me. :)
