Yes I have been quite a hardcore lately. Recently ran and walked from home to Jurong Point to meet Spidy. I left home at 7pm, and was suppose to meet her at 7pm. Knowing that I am late, that was what drove me to run and walked faster.
By 7:20pm, I reached the entrance of Jurong Point heaving and panting heavily with sweat perspiring profusely from my skin. My hair was in a mess and my legs were almost shaking. I called Spidy only to realise she had just reached the car park only. I walked into the mall, with every one around me in their work clothings and nice makeups on the ladies, and me, sweaty and nope! no smell though. the aircon dried up my sweat and cools down my tired legs.
We settled at Siam Kitchen? Simply Thai? or Indonesia whatsoever to have my dinner after I have cooled down. My appetite was ferocious at the beginning then when my stomach was almost full, the tiredness setted in and I laid back on the sofa shouting "Karen wo hen lei! (Karen, I am very tired!)"
That was on Tues.
With my aching legs, on thursday, I went for game of Squash with my colleague for an hour, but! I dun feel the kick. And so, with my working bags, and running attire, I walked home from work place for a whole of 30 mins (2.57K) and climbed the stairs from 6th storey to my home. Surprisely, I wasnt panting. But my legs were almost numb.
I had my dinner immediately after washing my hands and my parents were surprised to see that I could finished that plate of rice in minutes and I felt my stomach was only 3/4 filled. Then I went for a good warm bath, and dozed off while doing my facial mask.
Then waking up to continue with my regular chat sessions before dozing off to bed with a hungry stomach.
Worried that I will have bad aches on my legs this morning, surprisingly, they dont ache much and has recovered pretty fast. I guess I am getting some stamina sets in now.
GE Run! I am coming!
