Went Haji Lane today. If you (esp girls) like vintage clothings, jeans, pretty and unique designer deco for your house, head down to Haji Lane. You may see some repeated similar stuffs selling in two stores or more, however as long as you use some 007 instinct, you should be able to to spot those really unique items. They have wide range of vintage dresses, earrings, shoes and wristlets for sale. For the guys, basically are tee shirts, unique ones thats all (I dun really bother to look thru though. LOL!)
Then, we went to walk around at Arab street. Should have bring along a digi cam to capture some nice interesting buildings, what a pity. But its a good experience to stroll along the Arab Street. It seems like I am in some foreign country. I see some ppl who looks like turkish, owing restaurant in arab street, many indian muslims busy tidying up their textile shops, foreigners resting their feet at the nearby coffee shop, sipping coffee or tea or having a plate of mee goreng, or chatting with their business counterparts or friends.
It is really a day to window shop. Sometimes it did not need to carry bags of stuff back home in order to feel the sense of fulfillment. Window shopping and looking at pretty, interesting things, ppl, and buildings do make me feel fulfilling too! Well spent today. Well spent!
