The indecisive lion

He roars when is he calling out your name. His voice sounds like the thunder, I can even hear him from my cosy corner. Every call out from him gives my shoulders a jerk and I will look up at him and thinking why he has got such a loud amplifying voice.

His thinning hair is not helping me to guess his age right. He has been tempting for 6 to 7 years without holding a permanent job in anywhere. His parents do not care as long as he has regular income. Why has he been tempting for so long, ever been able to stay on? The reason he gave was simply because, he do not know what job he likes. He, maybe in his mid 30s, is a MAN who do not know what job he LIKES to do. Or he was just a responsiblity escapee? No wonder he is still a single (still dare to be complaining he cant find a gf).

There is no such job where by you like to do every single tasks. Even as a career, along the way, there are things you may dread doing. I may like doing publications, I may not like coordinating info. I may like sourcing for photographs, I may not like collating and classifying them all. How can we choose what tasks to do? Even as a boss, you do not have the luxury to chose your customers. That explains why he is still tempting after 6 to 7 years of doing so. And I guess, by the time he ever realise what job is suitable, he would have been an old man with silver hairs all over his head. And till then when he finally make up his mind, he not not be a suitable candidate for the job anymore!

The worst type of person you can have in your life is having someone who do not know what they want. Either they confuse you or they make you feel insecure. They are a walking time bomb.

Lesson in life: Think fast, act fast. Opportunity knocks on your door once only. You do not have a whole life time to decide only one thing. There are dozens of decision makings to be done daily. How can we afford to spend so long deciding for the best of everything for ourselves? Sometimes, it may not be the best solution or decision. But it is always better than spending a whole life time deciding.
